Elizabeth Pollard, SDSU Senate Distinguished Professor and Professor of History, was co-facilitator of FCDSI. At SDSU since 2002, Pollard is co-author of two widely-adopted textbooks on early world history and author of articles exploring History pedagogy using Twitter, Wikipedia, and Digital Humanities. An ITS Faculty Fellow representing the College of Arts & Letters, Pollard has co-led campus initiatives (CAL GE Project, 2013-15), served as Assessment Coordinator for CAL (2009-16), and is co-Champion of Comics and Social Justice for the SDSU President's Big Ideas Initiative (2020-present).
