Conference Welcome & DET/CHE 35th Anniversary Celebration

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In 1985 DET/CHE was founded by Media Directors who felt a need to discuss shared work interests, best practices, and research that were not being addressed by existing professional media organizations. Today DET/CHE provides a unique forum for discussing common management concerns within academic computing, instructional technology, media services, and distance education across all levels of California Higher Education. The historical development of DET/CHE over the past 35 years is certainly quite remarkable. Each of the panel members will be asked to reflect on their DET/CHE experiences from the perspective of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The individuals interviewed are a great mix of members that have a long history with the DET/CHE organization and a new member.
