Adopting a "by students, for students" approach to supporting virtual learners, Santa Clara University (SCU) launched the LEVL Up (Learning and Engaging in Virtual Learning) mini-course to help its students prepare for a completely online learning experience in fall 2020. LEVL Up offers student leaders' perspectives, guidance, and encouragement, including over 80 brief videos that capture students' own experiences in virtual learning in Spring 2020. Students complete 9 levels to hone their skills and knowledge related to goal setting, time management, technology and study spaces, learning strategies, campus resources, and the SCU virtual community. In this session SCU staff, our lead consultant, and student leaders will describe the LEVL Up development process, successes and takeaways.
