This session will describe California State University systemwide efforts to scale up in providing training to meet the demand to prepare faculty teaching remotely in the summer and fall. Efforts include collaboration with many campus directors, instructional designers, faculty and system administrators to expand training to support over 2,300 course registrations, 77 courses sections, and working with 41 course facilitators. Results will also be shared from a 27-item survey given to 800 faculty during the summer with them reflecting on their preparation to teach remotely and their concerns with transitioning to remote. Presenters will also share design of the course, managing registrations, growing a pool of certified facilitators, and personal reflections.
